The Non-Fiction Novelist

Helping at-work writers to become novelists

This blog is for…

This blog is for people who know how to write simple, clear sentences, the kind that they write for work. You know who you are. You are well organized and your reports, emails and other business communications are easily understood.

This blog is also for people who write non-fiction for a living like PR people, engineers, tech writers, manual writers, scientists, lawyers, students… Your sentences are also clear and concise even though to the outside world they may seem like jargon.

Moving from writing non-fiction to fiction can be a haul but you already have a head start. I’m going to help you over the rough spots.
